Nothing gathers a crowd like a bell nobody can ring. One swing of the mallet sends the striker racing up the 10ft tower — and the whole room stops to see whether it gets there.
The rules take three seconds to learn. Grab the 32oz mallet, hit the centre of the steel base as hard as you can, and watch the striker climb the strength scale from 10 towards 100. Ring the bell at the top and the bragging rights are yours. The strength setting is fully adjustable, so the same machine that humbles the office strongman stays winnable for the rest of the team.

The starting point — the unbranded Test Your Strength
The standard machine is the classic blue unit pictured here on site — steel base, full-height tower with the 10–100 strength scale, and the bell up top. The two fixed-price options below add your brand to this base unit.
Your design team supplies artwork on our keyline template, and lead time is 2 weeks from artwork approval. We’ve gone further than overlays too — full custom builds like the flame-wrapped machine in Seen in the Wild below, which toured the UK for an agency campaign. Delivery isn't a flat fee, and that's deliberate. A fixed price would mean simple local jobs subsidising the complex ones — quoting per event means you only pay for what your event actually needs.
Every booking includes two journeys — we deliver and install before your event, then return to collect and de-rig afterwards. Where the venue allows, we deliver the day before and collect the day after at no extra charge, so your kit is set up and tested well ahead of doors.

The Test Your Strength machine is delivered, installed and fully tested by the Entertainment Solutions team before your event begins. Setup takes approximately 15 minutes once on-site access is confirmed, and needs no tools. The unit travels in two parts — a 35kg steel base with a 60cm × 60cm footprint and a 3.05m fibreglass tower — access is rarely an issue, but please flag any low ceilings in advance: the assembled tower needs at least 3.2m of clearance indoors.
We operate nationwide across Dublin and Ireland. Delivery, setup and collection are quoted separately based on your event location and date. No minimum hire period applies.

How does the Test Your Strength machine work?
Grab the 32oz mallet and hit the centre of the steel base as hard as you can. The striker shoots up the 3.05m tower past a strength scale running from 10 to 100 — hit hard enough and it rings the bell at the top. One swing per go keeps the queue moving and the whole room watching every attempt.
Is there a trick to ringing the bell?
Accuracy beats muscle. A clean, square hit on the centre of the pad sends far more energy up the tower than a wild heave that lands off-centre — which is why the office strongman doesn’t always win, and why everyone demands another go.
Can the difficulty be adjusted?
Yes — the base unit has an adjustable strength setting. We calibrate it on the day so a mixed group all get a fair swing, or turn it up if you want the bell to stay bragging-rights-only.
Can we run it as a competition?
That’s where it shines. Every swing scores 10 to 100 on the tower, so a highest-score-wins format runs itself — crown your champion at the end of the day.
What is this game actually called?

Will it fit indoors?
Usually, yes — but check your ceiling. The assembled tower stands 3.05m, so we ask every indoor venue for ceiling height at booking: hotel ballrooms, sports halls and exhibition spaces are typically fine, while low-beamed function rooms occasionally aren’t. We flag it before it becomes a problem on the day — and if the room is genuinely too low, we’ll help you swap in a different crowd-puller.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes — it’s at home at outdoor fun days and festivals as well as indoors, with one rule: we don’t set up the 3m tower in high winds. For exposed sites it’s worth having a sheltered backup spot in mind.
Does it need power?
No — it’s fully mechanical. No sockets, no cables, no generators. One less thing on your venue checklist.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes. The machine arrives in two parts — the 35kg steel base and the fibreglass tower — and our team assembles, tests and calibrates it before your guests arrive.
How much space does it need?
Very little for something 10ft tall — the base is just 60cm × 60cm. Leave a clear swing arc in front of the machine and room for a queue behind it, and a corner of a function room does the job.
Will it damage the floor?
No — the steel base sits on a rubber mat we supply, protecting tiles, timber and ballroom floors.
Do you deliver outside Dublin?
Yes — we operate nationwide across Ireland. Delivery, setup and collection are quoted separately based on your event date and location.
Are you insured?
Yes — Entertainment Solutions carries €6.5M public liability insurance, and cover certs are available for venue compliance on request.

Can the machine be branded?
Yes — two fixed-price options, both produced entirely in-house: a full Tower Overlay at €500 +VAT and a Custom Cut Header mounted to the top section at €250 +VAT. Or take the Complete Activation Package — the game plus both branding options — at €695 +VAT. Artwork is supplied on our keyline template; allow 2 weeks from artwork approval.
Do you supply staff to run it?
If you’d like it hosted, add an Entertainment Solutions operator from €180 +VAT for the first 3 hours (€70 +VAT per additional hour). Otherwise we set up, calibrate and hand over — it’s simple enough for your own team to run.
Does it come with prizes?
We don’t supply prizes — in truth, the bell and the bragging rights do all the work, and that’s how nearly every corporate event runs it. You’re welcome to put up your own branded prizes for top scores.
Can it tour as part of a roadshow or multi-venue campaign?
