Your design team can supply the artwork by using our pixel perfect keyline template. We then print and fit the artwork, making sure it looks amazing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s some of the most common questions we get asked by clients before they order a bespoke prize crane game.

Prize Cranes are NOT waterproof.

If being set up outside, the game must be set up in a commercial marquee(not a cheap pop-up tent) with solid level flooring and it must covered at all times.

It is absolutely essential that the game is setup on a level surface, the claw will not work on an uneven surface.

These games cannot be moved across grass/gravel or anything other than solid flat level ground. The wheels are not made for anything other than flat ground.

10 Minutes

When we arrive onsite we have to connect up the crane gantry and run some quick tests. Once access is good, setup can take as little as 10 minutes.

90 plays per hour

On average, each game lasts about 45 seconds. That’s roughly 90 plays per hour running the game on standard settings and only allowing one credit per player.

We recommend business card style vouchers in the prize capsules for events expecting high volume use. This prevents having to refill capsules and allows for the prize capsules to be reused.

These games have various different win control settings.

Percentage Payout

We also have prize percentage computers available for higher value prizes like phones, laptops & electronics. We can program a win percentage ratio of anything from 5% to 95%.

Push to Play / Credit Button

The most popular mechanism to play our prize crane games would be via a credit button, this is used on 95% of prize cranes we provide. This is the big white LED button you see in our pictures(Push to Play). Press the button to activate a credit, and play away. We also have a the option of supplying a coin or token mechanism if required.

Coin Mechanism

A coin mech can be programmed for €1/€2 per play.

Token Mechanism

A token mech can be provided if an unsupervised solution is required. This would allow for tokens to be allocated by you to your players, staff or customers. Players can then use the token to play the game. This means the machine can be installed unsupervised & not used by anyone without a token. We have clear acrylic tokens in stock, the cost to provide a token mech and clear acrylic tokens is €150. Custom tokens are available on request. Custom acrylic tokens have a 2-3 week lead time, custom metal tokens have a 4 – 8 week lead time. Please get in touch if you require custom tokens, we can advise on pricing & lead times.

This game requires a standard 3-pin(13amp) plug within 5 meters of the set up area.

Generally this isn’t something we offer. These games have very sensitive electronics, switches and sensors.

If we deliver the game, we guarantee it will work. If we don’t deliver the game, we have no control over how it’s transported and set up.

If opting to move the game yourself and it did not work at your event, the game would need to be returned to our warehouse for diagnostics and/or repair.

The only time it makes sense to offer a collect and return service is when a client is planning an activation that requires the game be moved all over the country for multiple events.

When it comes to custom branded games, we’ve been delivering bespoke games to the biggest brands for over 10 years!

From the initial enquiry, to delivery of your custom game when and where you need it, you’re in safe hands with us.

2 Weeks

We ask for all artwork files a minimum of 2 weeks before the delivery date. This gives us plenty of time to check your files and allows for any changes to be made.

We can work on a shorter lead time but it all depends on how busy we are at the time of your enquiry….

NOPE!

This causes way too many problems.

Having a printer or anyone who is inexperienced with how these games work, move them around or disassemble them, is a recipe for disaster.

Been there, got the t-shirt. There are too many sensors, controls, switches and electronics that could be damaged.

We have a system in place which allows us to deliver pixel perfect games that look like they just rolled off the factory floor, trust us when we say you do not want the stress of managing this process.

YES!

We can pre-fill the capsules with your prizes or merch. This costs 50c per capsule.

If you’d like to pre fill the capsules before your event, you can pick them up at our office or we can courier the empty capsules to you. We fill around 100 capsules  per hour.

It takes 150 capsules to fill the prize crane game, this is what we provide as standard.

We can provide much larger quantities of capsules if required, we keep stock of 3000+ clear capsules for larger events/festivals.

Any capsules not returned are charged @ €1 per capsule

There is no charge for capsules provided 90% of the capsules are returned.

The standard claw used in our crane machines has a max opening of 150mm. This is typically used with our 90mm clear capsules or 4″-8″ soft plush toys like Teddy Bears.

We also have a hyper claw assembly which allows for much bigger prizes like tshirts, hoodies, caps and bigger merch. This is typically used for 3″-12″ soft plush toys like Teddy Bears in the arcades.

90mm

The prize capsules in our arcade claw machines are 90mm wide.

If you need to give away prizes that may not fit in a capsule we can supply business card style vouchers for the capsules, these indicate what prize the players can win. The styling and artwork for these can be provided by your designer.

We also have a hyper claw assembly which allows for much bigger prizes like tshirts, hoodies, caps and bigger merch. This is typically used for 3″-12″ soft plush toys like Teddy Bears in the arcades.

If you have prizes or merch that you’re unsure will work in the game, pop some in the post and we’ll record a video of it in the machine and how it works.

Capsules are available in a clear finish or a multi colour base with a clear top.

Custom colour capsules can be ordered at an additional cost of €1 per capsule plus shipping, duty & VAT. Lead times on custom colour capsules is 2-6 weeks.
